Import Export Code (IEC) Registration
Import Export Code (IEC) is a unique 10-digit identification
number issued by the
Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry,
Government of India. It
is mandatory for individuals or businesses who want to start importing or
exporting goods and services
from India.
IEC is a one-time registration and does not require any renewal. Without an IEC,
you cannot engage in
international trade or avail benefits under foreign trade policies.
